Environments
The Environment is a major part of Emily's life, she enjoyed writing poetry about nature, and animals, and anything else related to nature. Like her poem called "A Narrow Fellow In The Glass" is about a snake, she describes the snake through various ways and by using metaphors and similes. Her poetry about nature and the environment also included her own personal experiences. She writes what she sees and adds feelings into it, which helps the poet understand the poem better.
Emily Dickinson should definitely be part of the IB program, because it would give students a variety of ways to actually understand what the whole IB program is about.
Human Ingenuity
Human Ingenuity and Emily Dickinson have a very strong a connection. She is a person who is always full of ideas, and is always willing to help people. She thinks everything thoroughly and tries to come up with the best of the best, she uses all of her abilities to the most. Emily always tries to do something different in each poem of hers. In every poem she tries something new, either grammar, punctuation, wording, or just the style of the poem itself, not only that but Emily wrote about many, many things, and covered a varied amount of topics.
This is another strong reason to why Emily should be part of the IB program. Her creativity and how she uses it to the best of her abilities might motivate the students, to work hard, and try their best and to think everything thoroughly.
Community and Service
Another topic Emily wrote a lot about is the community and community services. Emily not only wrote about life, nature, and love but she also wrote about slavery, human rights, and also a lot about wars. She wasn't very famous during her time, after she passed away, and her sister had published her poems, Emily was very famous for her poems about human rights and slavery, they helped a lot of people understand what was going on back then.
